 
When Diane was diagnosed with HIV in 1987, 15 doctors gathered in a room and told her she was going to die. Nearly 20 years later Diane (a health mother of two) and son Reggie share a tender moment on the steps of Columbia University, where Reggie (who is not infected with HIV) is a student and AIDS activist.
